This is week three of our “stay at home” worship. Today is the Fifth Sunday in Lent. Pastor Wayne invites us to take time to reset as he explores Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Psalm 130.
Join us for this virtual Morning Prayer service as Pastor Wayne looks at Psalm 23 and Psalm 121.
Our Scriptures this morning from Exodus 17:1-7 and John 4:5-42 have to do with water. In Exodus, the water is necessary for life. In John, the water is necessary for living life abundantly. The water is living water that goes beyond the need for sustenance. This morning, we don’t offer a recording of the sermon. Because of the Coronavirus scare, we offer a video of the modified Morning Prayer and Praise service that we conducted this morning with no congregation.…
What does it mean to be “born again?” What does it mean to trust completely in God’s work in our life? How does this concept of being “born again” mean that we give up our control issues, let go and let God be in control? Join us as Pastor Wayne explores Nicodemus and his in the night encounter with Jesus found in John 3:1-17.
This morning we start a new sermon series for Lent that we are calling “Boot Camp for the Soul.” Boot camp devalues the “I” while emphasizing the “we.” Lent is like bootcamp in that it helps us to see the need for change in our life and our relationships. Join Pastor Wayne as he helps us understand the need for change as we explore Matthew 4:1-11.
