On this resurrection Sunday, I want to share a couple of things with you. The first thing I would like to share is The Daily Text. The second is a YouTube video of the great hymn Christ the Lord is Risen Today by Charles Wesley, in an arrangement composed by John Rutter, the great English contemporary composer. By itself, this is a grand, inspirational work. But this performance caught my eye. You see, it is a recording made by the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in 2019. In this time of strife as Ukraine is attacked by Russia, the words of this hymn resonate of hope, even when sung in the Ukrainian language. Turn up the volume and celebrate the resurrection of Christ!
