I am excited about a Summer Book Club reading opportunity that is being made available through the folks at Seedbed, the folks who supply our daily devotional that is found at the bottom of our webpage. Seedbed is a ministry of Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
The summer book club is reading Jack Deere’s new book, Why I Am Still Surprised by the Power of the Spirit, an update of his 1993 book, Surprised by the Power of the Spirit. This looks like a good read and a good opportunity to share with folks across the Wesleyan connexion about the movement of the Holy Spirit among us.
If you would like to join me in this book club that begins June 1, you can find more information here. Don’t worry, Seedbed is headquartered in Franklin, TN (my hometown just outside of Nashville) and you should easily be able to receive the book if you don’t dawdle with your order.
