The following information from the Rev. Tim Jones, Director of Communications from the Holston Annual Conference:
On January 23 and 24, United Methodist Communications hosted the 2020 Pre-General Conference Briefing in Nashville, TN. United Methodist delegates and communicators from across the globe were invited to attend as they prepare for General Conference May 5-15, 2020.
Over 20 presentations were given with information on potential legislation, plans, budgets, and how this General Conference may affect different ministries within our denomination. UMCom has just released the videos of each of these presentations, and we wanted to share them with you. If you have any questions regarding the Pre-Conference Briefing, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or to our delegation.
As we continue moving toward May, let us remember we are still called to be the hands and feet of Jesus today, right where we are. Blessings to each of you as you seek to grow closer to God and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
