Hey McFarland, Pastor Wayne here. Did you know that you can give to McFarland UMC without putting a check or cash into the offering plate? We offer several ways of giving to the church in addition to the traditional method through the offering plate. The giving options that we mention below utilize Tithe.ly as our online/electronic giving provider. Tithe.ly utilizes the highest level of transaction security to ensure that your giving is safe. Here are the electronic giving options that are available to us:
1) You can visit the church website at McFarlandumc.org and click on the “Give Now” button. This will take you to our giving website with Tithe.ly where you will provide some information about your gift and how you plan to fund that gift (credit/debir card or bank account). Once you provide the information, you will receive an acknowledgement of your gift and it will be reflected in your annual giving statement.
2) You can text “give” to 470-252-4400 and fill out some contact information and give to the church.
3) You can download the Tithe.ly app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, set up an account and track your giving to McFarland UMC.
With methods 1 and 3, you can set up an automatically recurring gift that will ensure that your gift to the church will occur on the timeline that you establish. Also, by setting up a Tithe.ly account, you can track your giving throughout the year.
