Wayne Cook

Wayne has been in ministry in the United Methodist Church since 2006. He has served Lookout Mountain UMC, the Sand Mountain Circuit (Sand Mountain UMC, Rising Fawn UMC, and Wildwood UMC) and he was appointed to McFarland UMC in June 2018.

Wayne is currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Fellowship of Associate Members and Local Pastors of the Holston Annual Conference which places him on the Executive Committee for the Holston Conference Board of Ministry. In the Scenic South District, Wayne is treasurer for the District Pastors Association and Chair of the District Finance Committee.

When he isn’t wearing his pastoral ministry hat, he has an interest in steam trains and is a member of the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum where he is looking forward to being a volunteer. Wayne is married to Charlene, a music teacher in the Hamilton County Schools. They have an adult daughter, Monica, who is living her dream as a theatrical stage manager on the East Coast.
